Does Mississippi Require a Fishing License?

No Fishing License is required as long as you are on a Charter Boat in Mississippi. A license is required if you plan on doing any type fishing off of a Charter Boat. This includes bank fishing, the beach, or off the seawalls.

What Should We Bring on the Charter?

We provide the Rods, Tackle, Bait, and Bottled Water. Please feel free to bring the following: Sunglasses, Hat, Sunscreen, Snacks, and Drinks. We prefer no glass containers and we always keep cold complimentary bottled water on the boat. Extra cash is handy if you prefer not tipping by credit card. Although complimentary, it is customary to tip the Crew 15-20% for their efforts throughout the course of the day.

What is the Minimum Age for Children?

Biloxi Sport Fishing’s policy on children is that typically any child under the age of 5 should not participate in this activity.  Weather and water conditions often play a factor in determining whether a child should go or not. It is best to call Captain Tony to discuss if this is a show-stopper, or you have mitigating circumstances.

What Types of Fish Will We Catch?

The usual species caught are Redfish, Trout, Flounder, Sheepshead, and Black Drum. Other species do come up depending on the time of year such as Cobia and Spanish Mackerel. Click here for more

Yes both boats are equipped with “Dry Flush” Toilets for your comfort.

Is there Fish Cleaning Services?
